listen to the rain
an 8 movements meditation for string quartet, n'goni & voices
pre-order double vinyl
I've invited you to an unusual listening experience unfolding over a year. Each movement from listen to the rain was released in alignment with the 8 forces — which form the base for the I Ching, or Book of Changes' timeless wisdom. The so-called "Earthly Order" was accompanied by curated playlists & seasonal reflections. Head over here ENG / FR to listen to the current season's playlist, see pictures from the NYC release party featuring a film installation by Sean Webley & learn more about the project.
Below is an overview of listen to the rain in the "Heavenly Order": a sacred sequence of the 8 forces from the Taoist inner alchemy practice known as the Fusion of the 5 Elements — it is how the full piece is meant to be experienced live.
